The Personal Narrative Behind FL Business Press Releases

I started FL Business Press Releases because I got tired of reading Florida business news that was 48 hours late and 400 words light. As a portfolio manager and small business operator, I was already doing the underlying research every morning — pulling county agendas, scanning SEC filings, cross-referencing permit portals. Publishing it publicly was the natural next step.

The site you are reading is one of 26 regional intelligence properties I operate under the Florida Authority Network umbrella. Each one has its own editorial focus, but they share a common thesis: Florida commerce moves faster than the legacy press can cover it, and the gap is where attentive readers make their edge.

What We Publish

FL Business Press Releases is the press-release and corporate-announcement desk of the network. We capture raw corporate disclosures, expansion announcements, and regulatory filings from across statewide Florida, then surface the items that actually move markets or reshape local economies.

I’ve written more than 1,500 articles across a network of Florida news and press-release sites.

Below are 48 of the ones I’m most proud of — the most technical, the most personal, and the most creative.

They range from a Florida business owner’s guide to surviving an IRS audit, to a new technology that could reshape the world, to a heartfelt reflection on being a dad, to something that might just make you laugh.

If you’re skeptical, good. Skepticism is healthy. Pick three from the list at random. If none of them earn your time, I probably haven’t earned your attention and you should move on with my blessing. But if one or two of them land — if you find yourself thinking about them an hour later — then you’ve found something worth bookmarking.

You call the balls and strikes…
